5 Questions Pregnant Women Ask When Considering Adoption

For You From The Word

Be ready to do whatever is good. (Titus 3:1)

For You to Think About

woman asking questionsYou can help raise awareness about choosing life by being informed about the adoption option, being ready to share, and being equipped to listen to a woman in crisis.

If you know a pregnant woman, encourage her to be matched with a Birthmothers Friend or get counseling to make the best decision for her and her baby. You can also offer these key questions she can use to get started in the decision-making process.

1. Could I handle a child and a job and/or school while parenting?
2. An example of something I would have to give up by having a child with me is:
3. Am I able to give the child the love he needs and deserves?
4. Am I patient enough to deal with the noise, confusion, and the 24-hour-a-day responsibility of having a child?
5. How would I take care of my child’s health and safety?

For You To Pray

Loving and gracious Father,
Help me be ready to present the adoption option.
Amen.
