Job Opportunity: Ministry Administrator

Birthmother Ministries, Inc. (Birthmothers®) is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that shares Christ’s unconditional love one-on-one with those who face an unplanned pregnancy.

Position Description

The Ministry Administrator is responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks at the Vienna, VA office.


  • a committed relationship with Jesus Christ demonstrated by active membership in a local church, deep devotional life, passion for service, a call to gospel ministry, and acceptance of Birthmothers’ Statement of Faith
  • the desire to serve and support women who face an unplanned pregnancy, the ability to show compassion to hurting women, and a corresponding heart for adoption
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • experience in office management, strong working knowledge of MS Office, and proficiency with databases
  • the ability to take initiative, work independently, and complete tasks efficiently
  • outstanding character marked by faithfulness, dependability, discernment, and wisdom
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Spanish-speaking a plus
  • satisfactory background and reference checks


  • open mail, answer phones, prepare invoices for payment, make bank deposits, order office supplies, maintain office calendar, ensure computer maintenance
  • maintain donor and contact databases
  • establish and maintain relationships with key vendors
  • coordinate appeal and newsletter mailings with printer
  • provide administrative support for coworkers as needed

This employee reports to: Area Director
Position status: full-time; evening meetings and occasional weekends are required
