Birthmothers is growing! Our services are expanding to meet increasing numbers of women and families facing unintended pregnancies.

Position: Ministry Assistant

Reports to: Washington Area Director

Location: Birthmother Ministries’ home office, Falls Church, VA

Status: full-time/part-time

Availability: immediately

Description: an organized, articulate self-starter with a passion for service and Christian ministry. We’re looking for an individual who can help coordinate events, cultivate volunteers, communicate the ministry and follow up persistently and compassionately with ministry partners. Advancement opportunities for the right individual. The successful candidate will receive training in partnership development for self-funding.

Requirements and skills:

• a solid, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• bachelor’s degree or related experience
• basic office and computer skills
• initiative and the ability to work independently
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• detail-oriented and well-organized
